BoCox™ is a non-surgical treatment for ED that involves injecting Botox into the shaft of the penis to boost sexual performance. How does this work?
This treatment may cause relaxation of the smooth muscle of the arterioles, resulting in increased blood flow (and even in a small increase in length in one study). This increase in erection firmness by increasing arterial flow is exactly how Viagra and Tri-mix injections work.
Botox® (at doses much higher than 100 units) has been used for 2 decades for various problems with an extremely safe history. The P-Shot 100™ procedure is a specific method of injecting blood-derived growth factors, including platelet-rich plasma (or platelet-rich fibrin matrix) and botulinum neurotoxin, to improve the health of the penis and enhance the size or function of the penis.
How does Botox® work for Erectile Dysfunction?
The penis at default is in a contracted state, it is not until a man is stimulated where the penis becomes relaxed and erect. Botox allows the muscles in the penis to become relaxed thus increases the velocity of blood flow to erection providing a more efficient and possible sustainable erection.
What does the process look like?
We will start by taking your medical history, then a strong numbing cream will be applied to your penis. Once your penis is completely numb, your practitioner will deliver injectionsof Botox to the shaft of your penis If you opt to combine the BoCox™ and P-Shot treatments you will receive an extra shot in the crown of your penis to increase your sensitivity during sex. The injections will take less than 3 minutes to complete and most patients report feeling little to no discomfort during the process. After your appointment you will need to abstain from sex for 24-hours.
When should I expect results?
Results from the BoCox™ procedure can be expected within 2 weeks.
BoCox ED treatment results vary from patient to patient. Initial improvement may begin after the first several days but it may take up to 6 weeks to see full results. Best results are usually seen in the first three months but can last for 6 months or longer.
